At the general election Reform won over four million votes and had five MPs elected. The party is now building on this success by establishing ‘pilot Branches’ across the country.
This is a key milestone in the process of democratising the party, putting members at the heart of everything we do. As you may have seen at the party conference yesterday, a new Constitution has been ratified to create the rules and processes that enable members to form branches, elect officers and choose candidates to contest elections.
It’s an exciting time and we must not lose any time in organising for key elections – some of which will take place in May next year.
As the Party Constitution has now been ratified, the party is appointing interim Chairs to bring together local members to form ‘pilot Branches’. TO celebrate this, we will be holding our first official branch meeting for our constituency!
Date: Sunday 6th October
Time: 17:00
Location: Fox Tavern, Ridge Hill Lane, Stalybridge, SK15 1NQ
All members and supporters are invited! If you’re not a member I urge you to sign up today at: https://www.reformparty.uk/join
This should be a fantastic and fun event where we will come together to discuss our plans for the branch moving forward and how we will tackle the upcoming local elections. Our goal is to lay a strong foundation that will help us grow our presence and influence in the community, and also provide a forum where like-minded Reformers can meet!
